On Monday 28th February, Mr Kiggins and Miss Cooper took 8 girls from Year 5 and 6 to represent Nottingham Forest Football Club in a regional tournament against 8 other clubs. The girls got to wear the Nottingham Forest kit and played some fabulous football. Each game lasted for 10 minutes and the girls encouraged, supported and praised one another throughout each game displaying some great teamwork.
Even though they did not win all of their matches, they managed to score a goal and stopped lots of their opponents' goals from going in!
We are so proud of the team and how well they represented our school, particularly with their conduct, sportsmanship and support of one another. We can't wait to play our next match again soon!
