Today year 5 went to Attenborough Nature Reserve. We learned about the extremely important work that takes place there as well as taking part in some activities. We had the opportunity to pond dip and think about what wildlife was living in and around the water. We used some binoculars to do some bird watching and we took part in a minibeast hunt in the woods, using keys to identify which animals we had found. The children were really well behaved, very enthusiastic and came back with a lot of new knowledge.
